TWO UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES TO MEET
TOP FRENCH PRODUCERS’ AND TASTE THEIR WINES!

“We are very excited to welcome two very special guests to The Wine House from France in the coming weeks! On Monday, May 15, Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal, Owner and Executive Managing Director of Château Angélus, will present a Bordeaux Master Class in which she will discuss and pour four vintages of Château Angélus, a Premier Grand Cru Classé "A" in the Classification of Saint-Émilion, as well as the 2012 Carillon d'Angélus, the estate’s second wine. This is a rare opportunity to meet Stephanie here in Los Angeles, and savor four vintages of their flagship wine.

Then, on Tuesday, May 23, we welcome back the celebrated and charming winemaker Mark Fincham of Marchand-Tawse. Mark will show off the new 2014 releases from Marchand-Tawse. Using traditional vinification methods that reflect the conditions of the vintage more than following a set recipe, the team at Marchand-Tawse create wines that are intense and airy, complex yet accessible, and ethereal yet incredibly precise. We are delighted when talented and distinguished producers such as these visit our store!” – Jim Knight, The Wine House

The Wine House is thrilled to be named one of ten of the World’s Best Wine Shops” by Food & Wine! In addition to being described as a “wine geek’s dream destination” with modest markups and excellent small-production offerings, we were noted for having “an impressive lineup of classes.” In addition to the above-mentioned Bordeaux Master Class with Château Angélus and the Marchand-Tawse Burgundy Tasting, we are also offering an in-depth French Wine Scholar (FWS) course beginning this Saturday (5/13).
