The Wine House is thrilled to welcome Daniele Cernilli, aka DoctorWine, the highly acclaimed international wine critic on Italian wine to Upstairs 2 next Tuesday, August 22. He will be signing his book “The Ultimate Guide to Italian Wine 2017” and will be accompanied by various owners and representatives of some of his favorite producers including Giacomo Neri of Casanova di Neri, among others.
The past 20 years has seen a renaissance of Italian wines, with the country going through a great transformation in both viti and viniculture techniques. Many great wines have garnered praise across the world, and people now look to Italy with a new perspective and respect. Daniele Cernilli, who has a deep understanding of where Italian wine has been and where it is going wants everyone to enjoy and fully understand the extent of these changes. Join him next Tuesday, August 22, as you taste through some of the best examples of Italian wine today from a phenomenal group of very well-known and highly acclaimed Italian producers.

ABOUT DANIELE CERNILLI (DOCTORWINE)
Daniele Cernilli, aka DoctorWine, is a highly acclaimed international wine critic on Italian wine, and the man behind this new wine Guide dedicated entirely to Italian wines. Daniele Cernilli was one of the founders of Gambero Rosso and for 24 years edited the Gambero Rosso – Slow Food and Wine Guide.
