2016 Liquid Farm Wines Rosé Vogelzang Vineyard
Sta. Rita Hills
$26.99
FROM THE DISTRIBUTOR

Blend: 95% Mourvedre; 5% Grenache
Tasting Notes: Earth and mineral driven, this bone-dry rosé comes from Vogelzang Vineyard in Happy Canyon. The wine undergoes neutral barrel fermentation and further aging for 6 months.

About Liquid Farm
Liquid Farm makes terroir-driven, cool-climate Chardonnay from the Sta. Rita Hills AVA in Santa Barbara County. They choose to work with vineyard sites in this area as it is home to some of the most unique and ancient Chardonnay-loving sandy loam and diatomaceous earth soils in North America. For their first three vintages (through 2012), Nikki and Jeff worked with Dragonette Cellars’ Brandon Sparks-Gillis and John Dragonette to craft their signature style. Now with Brandon as their full time winemaker, this minuscule wine project is hitting its stride.

In order to further carry out their mission, they adhere to hand-picking early, native yeast fermentations (including natural malolactic), gentle pressing, minimal to no use of oak and bottling unfined/unfiltered. Moreover, in an effort to lower their carbon footprint, they leave every bottle "naked" (no capsule) or use a soft biodegradable wax, much like beeswax. They also close all of their bottles with a biodegradable DIAM cork.

2016 Red Car Wine Company Rosé of Pinot Noir
Sonoma County
$21.99
FROM THE WINERY

Blend: 100% Pinot Noir
Fermentation: Stainless-steel
Aging: 3 months in neutral French oak

About Red Car Rosé
The newest vintage of our highly coveted (and simply delicious) Rosé! Don't miss this chance to be one of the first to acquire a collection of one of the nation's most highly acclaimed bottlings. This wine is by far our best vintage yet! For the first-time ever in our Rosé program, we blended two cool-climate appellations: Sonoma Coast (60%) and Mendocino Ridge (40%). These highly touted wine regions offer the perfect growing conditions for the crisp, lively style of Rosé we strive to produce. The Manchester Ridge Vineyard and Mariah Vineyard from the Mendocino Ridge AVA are perched at about 2,000 feet elevation, situated extremely close to the vast Pacific Ocean, and offering us unparalleled acidity. The vineyards from the Sonoma Coast AVA are located in the rolling hills of the West Sonoma Coast, with fruit coming from a handful of our favorite organic and biodynamically farmed sites which are situated within 8-miles of the coastline. This is a serious Rosé, not to be missed... Sharing optional.

2016 Eric Kent Wine Cellars Rosé Sonoma Coast
$18.99
FROM THE WINERY

Blend: 77% Pinot Noir, 17% Syrah, 6% Grenache

About Eric Kent Rosé
More than any other wine we’ve made in the recent past, our Rosé has hit some kind of collective desire and we can barely keep it in stock for summer. We released 448 cases of the 2015 last year and were sold out in 10 weeks. Inspired by you all, we went to even greater lengths at the winery in 2016 and the results are better than ever. Before fermentations, we individually settled 13 separate lots of freshly-pressed juice and racked each off their gross lees to preserve higher-toned aromatics and what a knockout move that proved to be! At 77%, Pinot Noir dominates the blend, but that leaves 23% room for Syrah and Grenache to complete our signature complex, layered, deeply-colored Rosé. No mere copper-colored afterthought, this is serious stuff, mouth-filling and eager to join you on a picnic, at the beach or at the dinner table.

2016 Summer Water Rosé Santa Barbara County
$18.99
FROM THE DISTRIBUTOR

Blend: 80% Grenache, 20% Grenache
Aging: Stainless-steel

About Summer Water Rosé
Summer Water® is WINC’s exclusive collaboration with Yes Way Rosé, a lifestyle brand created by rosé aficionados Erica Blumenthal and Nikki Huganir. Prior to starting Yes Way Rosé, the high school best friends coined a nickname for their favorite style of wine; they called it "summer water," which turned out to be the perfect name for our collaboration — a reflection of their lighthearted, pink-hued dream world! Comprised of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah, this beautiful salmon-colored wine demonstrates notes of crisp strawberry, citrus, and rose, followed by laser-focused acidity and a bone-dry finish. We sourced the Grenache from a high-elevation Santa Barbara County vineyard — which sits among sandy soil and enjoys hot days with 40-degree diurnal temperature swings — while the Syrah came from a mountain-exposed vineyard in the region that exemplifies “cool-climate.”
