“Good full red. Smoke, herbs and savory red cherry dominates the nose. Dense and deep but a bit dry-edged, conveying an impression of solidity to the flavors of cherry, spices, cola and earth. Finishes with rising tannins and good length. Drinking Window: 2019-2026” - Ian D’Agata, March 2017

FROM THE IMPORTER

Cantine Bonacchi is a family owned and operated business making fine Tuscan wines for three generations. Andrea Bonacchi runs the entire operation – his father started the winery in 1970. The winery is located in Montalbano, in the heart of the Chianti production zone. The family owns 4 estates in the prestigious growing regions throughout Tuscany, totaling 90 hectares of land and vineyards. Wines are made in a “modern style” with brighter fruit flavors, balance and good structure while maintaining a level of elegance and refinement.
